After the success of the K-PG code on Bo, Horus cells within the Long Rim got to work refining and developing it further. With the revolt confined to Bo, they had to look for another avenue of arming the Ungratefuls outside of mining colonies. While mining worlds are few in between, Horus remembered that where there is civilization, there is a sewer, and with it, sanitation workers.

A fork of the original K-PG code, the RK-PG is another suite of hardware and software aimed at repurposing waste disposal machinery into combat mechs, designated pattern group: Rat King. Integrating with the common Microforge mounted on standard KTB SW exo-suits used to dismantle, compress, store and reprocess trash and waste, the K-PG instead molds a makeshift flash-printer, breaking down almost any waste material into base components and reassembling them into weapons and drones. Alongside chemical waste turned deadly weapons and salvage bots turned combat drones, Hydra-derived systems allows Rat King unparalleled synchronization between it and its horde of drones, allowing even just one ungrateful in a Rat King chassis to amass an army of their own, away from suspicion and prying eyes inside the depth of sewers and industrial landfills.
