Round of text fixes and adjustments

This should've caught most if not all of the immediately obvious typos, and I also rephrased some weirdly phrased stuff too. Lemme know if you find any glaring typos/textual weirdness.
Also did something fun with the flavour text for the VELES. You'll see :P
