The Duilius is IPS-N’s breacher line of mech, developed in conjunction with the IPS-N Tortuga, though some hurdles caused it to be released later. Designed to deal with the “fatal funnel”, the most dangerous space to be in a breach-and-clear scenario, the Duilius is armed with a heavy extendable shield, able to weather the most intense fire while moving through a space, acting as a bulwark to shield its allies as they file in behind it. Commonly, this is its sister mech, the Tortuga, mopping up all remaining survivors. Stout, bulky and heavily armored, the Duilius earned its nickname of The Wall through many deadly boarding actions, being the first to enter the breach and the last to leave.
